A Three-Year Path to Ownership

Our transition process usually spans one to three years.

Year One: MASSIE leads the project and handles the majority of the work. We train your team, introduce best practices, and implement the technologies that support your workflow. Many teams use this period to strengthen business component and documentation practices and move beyond interview-based evidence, which the IRS increasingly scrutinizes.

Year Two: We co-manage the project with your team. This hands-on collaboration ensures a smooth transition and builds confidence in the day-to-day work.

Year Three: Your tax team manages the project with MASSIE in a support role. By this point, your team can handle the process independently, using the structure and tools we helped you build.
