Best Practices: Draft Form 6765 Release

The IRS released the long-awaited Draft Form 6765 Instructions on December 20^th.  Along with the release, they referenced the latest Draft Form 6765 released on December 12. The Release, Instructions, and new Form can be found below.

The IRS is seeking feedback regarding the draft instructions, specifically about Section G reporting for controlled groups, the ASC 730 Directive, Section G business component detail, and statistical sampling. Feedback regarding the tax year 2024 draft or final instructions can be submitted to [email protected] through June 30, 2025, using the subject line: “Instructions for Form 6765.”
