Sherri Brinson, Ph.D

As the Manager of Technology Development at MASSIE, Sherri brings a wealth of knowledge to the team by leading the strategic planning and execution of innovative technology initiatives. Her role involves overseeing the development and implementation of cutting-edge solutions, driving continuous technology improvements, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and achieve business objectives. Before joining MASSIE, Sherri spent 16 years at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Headquarters in Norfolk, Virginia, as Sr. Database Developer developing custom database applications. She earned her B.S. in Computer Science from East Carolina University and a Doctoral degree in Information Technology Education from Capella University.

Outside of work, Sherri is an avid pickleball player, enjoys traveling with her “grandbabies,” and prefers to be anywhere that is surrounded by majestic blue water.
