Elaine Guan, CPA

As Senior Director of Project Management at MASSIE, Elaine skillfully manages engagements from inception to final report delivery. Renowned for her precision and strategic approach, she plays a vital role in enhancing the tax credit process and leading the MASSIE staff. Elaine brings substantial experience in finance and accounting within the high-tech industry to her role.

Her career began in progressive Finance Controllership roles in Canada. After moving to the United States in the early 2000s, she joined a high-tech start-up, sparking her interest in R&D finance. Subsequently, Elaine held senior finance positions at Siemens, Nokia Siemens Networks, and ARRIS Group. She earned her B.A. in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.

Elaine has a case of wanderlust and enjoys traveling, immersing herself in different cultures and food worldwide. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family when she’s not off on an adventure.
